NEWTON
Over the rainbow

...BLUE BIRDS FLY
These designs pay tribute to Isaac Newton, who in the 1660s and 1670s developed the foundations of the Color Theory. Through experiments with a prism, Newton demonstrated that white light is composed of the visible spectrum, identifying seven distinct colours—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. He later arranged them into the first colour wheel, linking colour to musical and mathematical harmony.
His discoveries continue to shape artistic practice today. Few artists have not encountered his work, and his legacy has inspired fields that explore the relationship between colour, perception, and emotion—from colour psychology to colour therapy and art therapy—each continuing to expand our understanding of light and colour in everyday life.

SHEYI Style
Boldly Classical & Modern Spirit

MODERN SPIRIT
Following an exhibition in 2023, I was invited to create a hat reflecting the distinctive style of a client. The request came as a surprise, as my work had long explored my own interpretation of the cap through tailoring form and material.
The Sheyi style stands in contrast to my previous work, yet it brought me back to the very essence of hat making — where tradition becomes a source of reinvention.
Boldly classical in spirit, each piece is thoughtfully designed and meticulously handcrafted to meet a contemporary artistic vision.
