SCULPTURAL TEXTILES: Material in Form
At the intersection of fashion and art, Giuseppe approaches textile as a medium for sculptural exploration. Through precise craftsmanship and an intuitive artistic vision, material is shaped, folded, and structured into forms that evoke movement and emotion. Each piece becomes a study in texture and volume, where textile transcends function to inhabit a space closer to sculpture.
WHEN CRAFT TRANSCENDS INTO ART
In 2024, I was honoured to be handpicked by Homo Faber, an international initiative celebrating excellence in craftsmanship. My work explores the point where technical mastery meets artistic expression—where traditional techniques evolve into sculptural forms. Through meticulous handwork and a deep respect for material, I aim to create pieces in which craft transcends function and becomes art.

"A man paints with his brains and not with his hands."
MICHELANGELO
To understand this reflection by Michelangelo is to recognise the hand as an extension of thought. For an artist, craftsmanship becomes a language shaped first in the mind before it emerges through gesture and material. In my studio practice, each piece begins as an almost hypnotic idea—an inner vision guided by a deep impulse to create. In 2022, I was invited by the Michelangelo Foundation to join Homo Faber, a guide celebrating some of Europe’s most exceptional artisans, reaffirming the dialogue between intellect, hand, and material that defines contemporary craftsmanship.

RENAISSANCE
The first SAVOCA collection draws inspiration from the meeting of Haute Couture and the urban world—a place where society, history, and modernity intersect. In this space, materials become a language of expression, reflecting identity, culture, and the evolving dialogue between tradition and contemporary life.
THE PEOPLE AT THE HEART OF ALL
A triad marking a new chapter, inspired by the symbolism of the Imperial State Crown and reinterpreting its deeper message. Stripped to its essence, the work reflects the shared responsibility we hold toward one another. By translating this powerful emblem of royalty into a familiar, everyday accessory, the pieces reminds us that the duty to care for others belongs to us all—expressed through the small, meaningful acts that shape our daily lives.
